SV Wallis -Sebastien Giberques FRA
ALLURES IN FRANZÖSISCH POLYNESIEN

Hello Peter, Sorry for the delayed reply, we were sailing
Let me give you more information about our setup.
Wallis is an Allures 39.9 built in 2015. The Windpilot setup was integrated from the beginning, mounted on the aft platform. I have attached a few photos of our setup.
The spare parts needed are to replace worn/missing screws: The boat is currently based in French Polynesia, but we also have a house in France (Nice). So it may be easier to ship the parts to our Nice address.
Let me know how much it would cost for the parts + shipment.
Thanks a lot
Sebastien @ Wallis
Sebastien, SVP provide full name and delivery adress as my records store 27 sailor named SEBASTIEN … very certainly the screw 438 will not need replacement as this screw will only be helpful to find / adjust rudder in good alignment … rather being an OVERLOAD PIN….
Bolt 435 can be used as the picture show … not really need to replace…please have a careful look to the upper end of pushrod 151: is it slightly bent ??? Please straighten back again …
for further queries you will realize that I am almost always just a mouseclick away from you
best from Hamburg

Hi Peter, Just wanted to let you you know that we had the auxiliary rudder rebuilt as per your suggestions. It’s working great! It got us from New Zealand to North Minerva Reef perfectly. We’re carrying on to Fiji today. Just wanted to let you know and say thanks for your help in figuring this out and thanks for making such a great windvane.
Dear Peter, We’ve finally arrived 10 days ago in the Marquesas after 34 days of light winds. Our Pacific unit worked flowlessly until the end. Only a few friction issues at the pulleys.
